Building products the hard way.
I am an AI product manager based in Calgary, Canada.
Before working in product, I spent years in research: distributed systems, blockchain, secure computation, 20 published papers. I left academia to build real things. That decision led to Catalyst Technologies, where I delivered enterprise digital asset platforms. And then to MaidLink, which I co-founded.
Before MaidLink had any technology, I operated inside the market from both sides. Recruited and managed service providers, acquired clients, ran 170+ service jobs myself. Not as a side hustle. As a deliberate methodology: understand the real workflow before designing any system around it.
The flagship example: estimation kept breaking. Not because the math was wrong. Because clients could not accurately assess their own home's condition against professional cleaning standards. It is a perception problem, not a data problem. The solution we built removes client self-assessment entirely and uses computer vision to read the property from photos. That is how I think about AI: not as a feature to add, but as a specific response to a validated, specific problem.
My co-founder Sindhuja owns all of engineering. I own the product layer: what we build, in what order, and why.
I am open to AI PM roles where the problem is real, the team ships, and being technically fluent matters in how you work, not just as a line on a resume.
